BoCC holds work session on marijuana ordinance

The county’s marijuana ordinance was again the topic of conversation at a work session of the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners held Tuesday.

The work session was the second public work session held by the county to discuss the ordinance, which went into effect June 17, 2014.

The work sessions have been held to gather ideas about what should be changed in the ordinance, which, in addition to the state regulations, regulates medical and recreational marijuana businesses in unincorporated Archuleta County (local ordinances can be more, but not less, stringent than state regulations).
