This Sunday, Oct. 4, after our 10 a.m. liturgy, St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, who delighted in the kinship of all of God’s creatures.
We will offer prayers of thanksgiving for and bless the animals who share our lives. All community members are invited to bring their animals and come to the steps outside the front door of the church at 225 S. Pagosa Blvd. anytime between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. this Sunday.
Those who cannot join the gathering at St. Patrick’s on Sunday are welcome to drop by the Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership amphitheater by the river on Monday, Oct. 5, between 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., as Rector Wren Blessing from St. Patrick’s will be available for walk-by blessings that morning.
