The Sixth Judicial District Nominating Commission has nominated two candidates for an Archuleta County court judgeship created by the appointment of the Hon. Justin P. Fay to the Sixth Judicial District Court bench effective Oct. 1.
The commission selected nominees Anthony D. Edwards, of Silverton, and Matthew Gregory Margeson, of Bayfield, on Oct. 15.
Under the Colorado Constitution, the governor has 15 days from Oct. 16 to appoint one of the nominees as county court judge for Archuleta County.

Nominees Katie Ann Dittelberger, of Durango; Anthony D. Edwards, of Silverton; and R. Reid Stewart, of Hesperus, were selected by the commission on Oct. 15.
Under the Colorado Constitution, the governor has 15 days from Oct. 16 to appoint one of the nominees as district court judge for the Sixth Judicial District (Archuleta, La Plata and San Juan counties).
