The 19th Hole Concert Series continues tonight with an evening of live music, community connection and local impact featuring the Upper San Juan Watershed Enhancement Partnership (WEP) as this week’s highlighted nonprofit organization.
Tonight’s concert will feature live music from the Jackson Mountain Ramblers, bringing their high-energy mountain sound and crowd-favorite blend of bluegrass, Americana and roots music.
As the featured nonprofit, the WEP will be on-site sharing information about its collaborative efforts to improve rivers, streams, wetlands and watershed health throughout the Upper San Juan Basin. Community members are encouraged to stop by, learn more about ongoing restoration projects and support local watershed stewardship efforts.
The concerts take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club, with proceeds from the $10 suggested donation supporting all four nonprofits participating in this year’s concert series.
Concert series to continue June 18
Another exciting evening continues with the third concert in the four-part series featuring Pagosa Community Initiative (PCI) and musical guest Mike Blakely.
Known for his signature mix of outlaw country, rock, blues and Texas Americana, Mike Blakely is expected to bring an energetic performance to next week’s concert while PCI highlights its important work supporting local youth and families.
PCI provides out-of-school programming for youth through trauma-informed practices along with family support services that strengthen overall well-being throughout the community.
Funding generated through the 19th Hole Concert Series will help expand scholarship opportunities for youth to attend PCI summer camps, ensuring financial barriers do not prevent children from accessing safe, enriching and therapeutic summer programming.
The 19th Hole Concert Series continues to bring together live music, local nonprofits, and community support throughout the summer season in Pagosa Springs.
Community members and visitors are encouraged to attend concerts every Thursday night in June to enjoy the music and support organizations working to strengthen the Pagosa Springs community.
