The 2026 Archuleta Health Fair and Expo is just about here.

Join us on Saturday, Oct. 24, for the fourth annual health fair, offering accessible health care resources, low-cost preventive labs, adult vaccinations, and direct access to local health providers, engaging community organizations and health-focused vendors.

Held at Pagosa Springs High School from 7 a.m. to noon, the event aims to promote access to preventive medicine, giving residents a convenient place to prioritize their long-term health.

Low-cost labs

Blood draws will be administered from 7 to 10 a.m. sharp. To ensure a smooth experience and minimize wait times, community members are strongly encouraged to preregister on Healthy Archuleta’s website prior to the event.

Preregistration allows attendees to select their preferred lab options, which include a Wellness Panel ($20) covering CMP, CBC, lipid profile, A1c and TSH; PSA testing for men ($6); and Vitamin D levels ($16). Online preregistration also enables you to complete necessary paperwork in advance and secure your lab draw time slot.

Additionally, participants can connect with local health care providers and schedule follow-up appointments to review results. Follow-up appointments will help participants interpret their numbers, answer questions and discuss personalized steps to maintain or improve their health.

On-site screenings and vaccinations

We are fortunate to have expert local, regional and statewide health care professionals traveling to the fair to provide valuable health checks, including breast exams, blood pressure, eye pressure, hearing and dental assessments, as well as colorectal cancer screening information, among others.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Mobile Adult Vaccine Clinic will be on-site and open from 8 a.m. to noon providing vaccines for adults. Vaccines are offered at no cost to uninsured and underinsured Coloradans, while insured attendees can utilize covered coverage options on-site.

In addition to all of the amazing health benefits offered, there is also much more. Dozens of regional vendors, regional nonprofits, pediatric resources, mental and behavioral health support groups, and financial health advisors will staff interactive booths throughout the health fair.

All are welcome to attend this health-focused community event and take advantage of all these amazing opportunities to improve your health.

Register today on Healthy Archuleta’s website, www.foodcoalition4archuleta.org. As a reminder, labs are only available between 7 and 10 a.m. Please register early to confirm your appointment time.
