County Road 500 (Trujillo Road) near mile marker 37 (5.5 miles east of the intersection of Colo. 151 and County Road 500) has been shut down for the foreseeable future.
According to the Archuleta County Sheriff's Office, "The current weather conditions have exacerbated the situation, making it unsafe to traverse."
It adds that repairs and new culvert replacements are scheduled to take place next week.
The Archuleta County Road and Bridge Department has set up barricades.
