The Town of Pagosa Springs is processing a proposed rezoning of properties along Goldmine Drive to “Commercial” district zoning, as contemplated in the Town’s adopted 2018 Comprehensive Plan and consistent with long existing uses along Goldmine Drive.
Eight (8) of the properties along Goldmine Drive have been zoned “Commercial” since 2009. The remaining eleven (11) properties are currently zoned “Mixed Use Corridor”. The intent of this process is to complete the rezoning of all properties along Goldmine Drive to “Commercial” zoning as contemplated in the adopted 2018 Comprehensive Plan’s Future Zoning Map.
The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday April 23, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. to consider the Rezoning proposal. The Town Council will consider a recommendation from the Planning Commission, public comment and staff report for a decision regarding the proposed rezoning at public hearings on May 7, 2024, and May 23, 2024, at 5 p.m.
