The Fourth of July is fast approaching and lots of activities are being planned to make it a fun-filled day.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. featuring our 2023 grand marshal, Jann Pitcher.

Make sure to arrive early to find parking and pick your viewing location. Announcers will be located near the entrance of the Overlook parking area so you can hear details about all the awesome parade participants. Watch for additional information to be distributed about voting for your favorite parade entry.

If you want to enter the parade, don’t forget the deadline to submit your application is June 27 at noon. Details can be found on the town website at https://www.pagosasprings.co.gov/4th-july.

Who wants to see some fireworks? The show will start at sundown (approximately 9:30 p.m.) and can be viewed from multiple locations in town, but Yamaguchi Park is one of the favorite gathering spots.

Additional event activities can be found on the Visit Pagosa Springs website at https://visitpagosasprings.com/july4th.
