The time is here. The Pagosa Springs Community Choir’s annual Christmas concerts are this weekend, and you don’t want to miss them.
Please join the Community Choir in the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium for a choral Christmas concert that will bring joy to you and yours.
We offer three concerts to fit your schedule, and admission is free. Our three concerts are on Friday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m.
Please join our music director, Dan Burch, and Venita Burch, our accompanist, and all the singers in the choir — which boasts close to 70 members — who have been rehearsing for these concerts since September and who are ready to make your holiday season special.
One of the unique aspects of our concerts is our ASL-certified sign language interpreter, Faith Richardson. Richardson has been signing for our concerts for many years now and it is beautiful to watch her hands as they interpret the lyrics of our songs.
The women in the choir will be dressed in our sparkling Christmas attire while our men’s black vests and red bow ties are festive and smart. We are a good-looking group. Then, add the stage decorations which our board members lovingly put up and you have almost everything you need for a beautiful Christmas concert. The final ingredient is the beautiful voices and harmonies raised in song in celebration of Christmas.

Remember, you can enjoy our concerts on Friday and Saturday nights, Dec. 8 and 9, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m.
The choir is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and, as such, we operate based on donations. Admission is free, but if you can give a donation, these donations fund the choir’s continued operations and fund our vocal scholarships that are awarded annually to local vocal students.
