Late Night at the Library craft event slated for Saturday

Posted

Join your friends for Late Night at the Library this Saturday, Dec. 9.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. at your Ruby Sisson Library.

During this unique event you will have opportunities to turn old books into repurposed treasures while spending time with old and new friends. We will offer crafts for all abilities along with volunteers to help you along if needed. Some of the crafts will be holiday-themed, while others can be enjoyed all year long. Feel good about upcycling old, worn, ruined books while creating beautiful and fun pieces of art.

Delicious craft hors d’oeuvres will be catered and drinks will be provided. This is a 21-and-over event.

Your $50 ticket to Late Night at the Library provides you with all of your supplies for a variety of crafts along with your food and drinks. Proceeds will support our Mountains of Opportunity building campaign.

The addition and renovations will offer community meeting space, dedicated room for children’s literacy programs, a room exclusively for teens and tweens, private study rooms, an intergenerational hands-on learning space, easy access to self-checkout and drop-off, and a beautiful outdoor reading garden.

Tickets may be purchased online with credit card at pagosalibrary.org or in person at your Ruby Sisson Library with cash or check. Buy your tickets today.
