“Once Upon a Mattress,” a family-friendly musical adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s “Princess and the Pea” is this summer’s musical presented by Curtains Up Pagosa.
The show will take place June 12-16. Auditions for the cast are Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Pagosa Springs High School band room.
If you are interested in auditioning for this wonderful community theater production, please prepare a one-minute monologue or dramatic reading, along with a one-minute solo.
Auditions will be on a first-come, first-served basis during the times listed above. The audition itself should take no more than 5-10 minutes.

If you wish to be a part of the show and not be in the cast, we are always looking for backstage crew, as well as pit musicians. We love to feature our community members in whatever way they feel comfortable.

We also need some volunteers to help build our set, help work backstage during the show and join our costuming team. If you are interested in being a part of our production crew through building, sewing or any of the backstage areas, please email director.curtainsuppagosa@gmail.com to express interest and let us know how you would like to help out.
