The Wild West Squares of Pagosa Springs offers a free eight-week introduction to square dance with classes continuing to accept new students on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. The next class is May 4 at the PLPOA Clubhouse.

Nine graduates

After working hard in class to learn the 60-plus mainstream-level square dance calls, Wild West Squares teacher/caller Carla Roberts proudly graduated Peggy Caldwell, Dusty Bailey, Wanita Martin, Mary Olson, Brian Hay, Alice Keil, Steve Keil, Margaret Darling and Lois Dacus.
