Unitarian Universalists announce upcoming services

As we turn our attention toward lengthening days, we know that in the Rocky Mountains we wait. More than likely, it will snow again and again as spring makes it way up the mountains.

We give thanks for the added moisture whenever it arrives, and the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship gathers each month to share in a small group setting we call Going Deeper Sharing Circle.

This offering on the second Sunday of the month is from 10:30 a.m. to noon and is for those with curious minds and open hearts. We come together to share with one another and practice deep listening. We explore themes of recent topics and leave space for reflection through poetry, music and personal sharing. We invite you, even if you are not a regular attendee or have ever been to the fellowship. Come to make friends and practice the art of listening with others as we grow our spirits. Light refreshments are offered.

Also on Sunday, April 13, is the Meditation Practice and Dharma Talk from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

Facilitated by Dan Dempster, a certified meditation instructor and Buddhist teacher, authorized by Lama Migmar, Harvard Buddhist chaplain. All are welcome. You do not need to be Buddhist to benefit from these beautiful, authentic practices. Just bring a kind heart and an open mind. We can even help you to find those. Join us.

We meet at Unit B-15 of the Greenbriar Plaza, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd., on the north side facing the Pagosa Peak. We also offer Zoom services the first and third Sundays of the month.
