Trinity Anglican Church welcomes new vicar

Posted

Trinity Anglican Church is pleased to introduce to the Pagosa Springs community our new vicar, the Rev. Nicholas Ziegenhagen. He will begin his ministry here during Holy Week.

Ziegenhagen comes to us from Tyler, Texas, where he served alongside Bishop Walter Banek at Good Shepherd Church and School as associate rector and school headmaster. He brings experience, energy and creativity to this new beginning in the life and growth of our church.

He and his wife, Sarah, and their family of six children enjoy many of the activities Pagosa offers, and we predict that they will soon become “locals” like the rest of us transplants.

We welcome visitors to worship with us during Holy Week, as Ziegenhagen leads in our celebration of the central core of our faith — Christ’s sacrificial death and glorious resurrection:

• April 17: Maundy Thursday Holy Communion at 6 p.m.

• April 18: Good Friday service at 6 p.m.

• April 20: Easter Sunday Holy Communion at 10 a.m.

As a Reformed Episcopal church, Trinity Anglican offers communion to all baptized Christians.

We do not yet have separate child care available, but we always enjoy having children with us in our services.

Trinity Anglican Church is located at 246 Harman Park Drive.
