Bring yourself and friends for fun and viewing of the 58th NFL Super Bowl.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs, the Super Bowl event will be Sunday, Feb. 11, at the Tennyson Building Event Center. Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased online at pagosaspringsrotary.org or in person with cash or check at The Choke Cherry Tree.
The doors will open at 3 p.m. and betting squares will begin at that time. Per state-sanctioned guidelines, betting squares will close at 4:15 p.m., prior to kickoff at 4:30 p.m. One hundred squares will be available for $20 cash per square, and cash awards of $250 will be given out at the end of every quarter, for a total of $1,000 in prize money. Come early to get the squares you want.
Party food will be offered at the end of every quarter and includes homemade chili, a hot dog bar, popcorn machine and snacks galore. Beer, wine and mixed drinks will be offered at the cash/credit card bar. One large projection screen plus four additional large televisions around the room will air the game and all the great commercials and entertainment.
Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed fan — one male and one female attendee — and all ticketed attendees have the chance to win door prizes throughout the game. Prizes include passes to the geothermal springs, ax throwing, virtual shooting range, salt cave, a horse-drawn carriage ride and more.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Rotary Club local scholarship program for graduating high school seniors that awards higher education support for college and certificate and vo-tech training.
