Sharon Case, 88, passed away on April 25, 2025, in Pagosa Springs, Colo.

Born to Cecil and Hazel Dimond of Little River, Kan., Sharon was the eldest of three children. Sharon married her high school sweetheart, Kermit Case, and farmed alongside him until 1967, at which time they left the farm and moved to town. The couple, along with their five children, resided in midwestern Kansas until moving to Pagosa Springs, Colo., in 1991.

Throughout her life, Sharon was known to be an energetic and enthusiastic worker. She enjoyed working in banking, bookkeeping, property management and managing a photography store. When she wasn’t working, Sharon could be found in her beautiful summer garden or diligently planning next year’s “crops.” Sharon will be remembered for her warmth and kindness, and how she could effortlessly prepare meals for large gatherings of family and friends; everyone was welcome.

She is survived by her brother, C. Richard Diamond (Diane); her children: Kathy Holthus, Alan Case (Deb), Janet Boyer (Russ), Joyce Parsons (Dave), Karen Bunning (Tracy); many beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anyone that knew Sharon knows she is happily dancing with the love of her life once again.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the BeeHive and Pine Ridge employees for the caring support provided over the past few years.
