A semi crash on Wolf Creek Pass Monday evening left the driver with minor injuries.
According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), the crash was dispatched at 5:40 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14.
The CSP notes it was called in as a semi crash on U.S. 160 at mile post 159.
According to the agency, the semi was on U.S. 160 on Wolf Creek Pass in a 25 mph zone when it failed to negotiate a right-hand curve. The truck overturned and slid across the eastbound lanes before striking the embankment off the south shoulder.
The driver, identified by the agency as 27-year-old Sarabjeet Singh, of California, was issued a summons for careless driving and no proof of insurance.
He had minor injuries, according to the agency.
