Rotary Club announces scholarship recipients

The Pagosa Springs Noon Rotary Club is proud to announce that it is awarding a total of $20,000 to three very deserving Pagosa Springs High School students — Hailey Sams, Bella Gutierrez and Peyton Jackson.

Sams plans to attend the University of Colorado (CU) Boulder to obtain her bachelor’s degree in political science.

Gutierrez is planning to attend CU Boulder to obtain a bachelor’s of science and nursing to become a midwife.

Jackson is planning to obtain a general welding degree at San Juan College in Farmington, N.M.

The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club also congratulates the entire class of 2025 and wishes each and everyone of the students success in their future endeavors.

Since 1993, the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club has awarded more than $548,000 to over 200 local high school graduates. The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club would like to thank the Pagosa Springs community for their continued support of the Rotary fundraisers and sponsorships. They have made our local scholarships possible again this year.
