On May 15, Laura Metallo, on behalf of the Pagosa Pickleball Club, met with Rose White and members of her Pagosa Springs High School freshman health/PE class.
White is planning to include pickleball in her health/PE curriculum and she reached out to the club for guidance.
After communicating with White, Metallo organized the effort to surprise her and numerous class members with the donation of 25 new pickleball paddles and 40 pickleballs from the Pagosa Pickleball Club.
