The creativity and talent of local students will be on full display at the upcoming Archuleta School District-Wide Art Show, opening next week at Pagosa Springs High School.

The annual event features a vibrant collection of artwork from elementary, middle and high school students across the district.

This year’s exhibit showcases a curated selection of pieces created throughout the 2024-2025 school year. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of media, including drawings, paintings, sculpture, digital art and mixed-media projects that reflect the diverse interests and perspectives of students at every grade level.

The show is a celebration of the students’ growth, imagination and hard work. It’s a unique opportunity to see how a student’s creativity evolves through their elementary, middle and high school years.

The event will be Tuesday, May 13, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. It is open to the public, and admission is free. Light refreshments will be served. Families, friends and community members are encouraged to attend and support the young artists.
