Dear Editor:
I agree with the letters recently published in The Pagosa Springs SUN supporting the authorization of a sales tax for the Town of Pagosa Springs—ballot measure 2A. Ordinarily, I would not support a tax increase, but in this case, we have no real alternative. If we fail to act as a community, the consequences will be severe—potentially costing each of us around $200 a month or more.
