DivorceCare is a support group which features nationally recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics and have experience in the journey of divorce.

You are not alone on the path to healing. You will find caring people who understand the issues you face and practical counsel for decision making and managing your stress.

Centerpoint Church is offering this 13-week program with a series of videos followed by a discussion group. Some examples of the videos you will watch are “Facing My Anger,” “Facing My Loneliness” and “Kid Care.”

Meetings will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each Monday from March 3 to May 26.

The church is located at 2750 Cornerstone Drive in Pagosa Springs.

There is no fee, and all materials will be provided.

DivorceCare for Kids

Centerpoint Church is also offering a new program for children ages 5 to 12 who are also going through the journey of divorce.

DivorceCare for Kids is a children’s program that will meet simultaneously with the adult program, discussing the same topics. This will allow the parents and kids to discuss what they are learning.

Our program is designed to keep your children safe while meeting with other children who are going through life-changing issues of divorce.

Our program uses games, stories, music, videos, book reading, crafts and prayer. Snacks will be provided. There is no fee for this program. Parents do not have to attend the DivorceCare class for their children to attend.

For more information, contact Jim and Holly Shook at jshookup@gmail.com or contact the church at (970) 731-2205.
