It is with heavy hearts and deep love that Ron Shaw and family announce the passing of Darlene Shaw, on March 9, 2025 at the age of 85.
She leaves behind a legacy of strength, laughter and unwavering loyalty that will be forever cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Darlene had a deep and enduring love for nature, often finding peace and solace in the beauty of the world around her. Her home, a sanctuary filled with warmth and love, was a reflection of her spirit. She took immense joy in tending to her garden, marveling at the wonders of each season and nurturing life in every way possible.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through challenges and triumphs alike. Her unwavering belief in a loving Heavenly Father and her ability to see His presence in the simplest moments inspired all who knew her. She carried her faith quietly but powerfully, living it out with grace, compassion and a deep sense of purpose.
Fiercely loyal, she was a protector, standing by the ones she loved through thick and thin. Her strength and courage will live on in the hearts of her husband, her four children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all who were blessed to walk alongside her.
Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will live on in every laugh, every flower in bloom and every act of kindness she so freely gave. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, with her Heavenly Father that she loved so dearly, surrounded by the beauty of nature she cherished.
May your beautiful soul rest in peace, “Granny Chicken.” You are loved beyond measure. We will feel your presence in every hummingbird.
