Community United Methodist Church to host climate expert for Earth Day-themed talk

The Community United Methodist Church is continuing its Abundant Health series with a timely and powerful session on environmental health.

The session is set for Thursday, April 24, at 6 p.m. at 434 Lewis St.

This installment, titled “Climate Change: Our Power, Our Planet,” will feature Dr. Terry Root, Nobel Prize-winning scientist and professor emerita at Stanford University. 

Root will speak on this year’s Earth Day theme, offering both inspiration and practical guidance on how individuals can take meaningful steps to help combat climate change.

This event is free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated. All are welcome to join the conversation and explore ways we can care for our shared planet, together.
