Women’s charity golf tournament raises a record $10,000 for local Veterans for Veterans

Local golfer Toosje Lamoreaux achieved a golfer’s dream when she got a hole-in-one on the par-three Pinon 8, winning two plane tickets to any destination in the U.S., during the Pine Cone Classic charity golf tournament.

This year’s Pine Cone Classic charity golf tournament held July 11-12 and sponsored by the Pagosa Springs Women’s Golf Association (PSWGA) drew 76 golfers from four states to the Pagosa Springs Golf Club and set a record for fundraising for a local nonprofit by the tournament.
