Special to The PREVIEW

Thingamajig Theatre Company’s kids division has been working since September on character choices, stage presence and stretching the imagination while putting together a production of “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.”

The Whatchamawhozits will present the play on Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts. Admission for the production is only $5 and tickets can only be purchased at the door starting at 5:30.

Kids in the Whatchamawhozits class range from 7 to 12 years of age and their experience ranges from beginner to three-year veterans of the program.

In the “Chamber of Secrets,” Harry ignores warnings not to return to Hogwarts, only to find the school plagued by a series of mysterious attacks and a strange voice haunting him. The actors portraying the characters get to play villains and heroes, buffoons and wise professors, best friends and enemies.

Come support the kids as they dive into the world of theatre. The play is appropriate for all ages.
