Special to The PREVIEW

Last month, Thingamajig Theatre Company began a new tradition here in Pagosa Springs.

With excited and eager participants for the first ever Whadycallit Drag Wednesday, Thingamajig swung open its doors to an evening of games hosted by its very own drag queen in residence, Beverly (Taylor Marrs).

Complete with multiple rounds of Pictionary, charades, and arts trivia, the night was filled with musical references, performances and even a little dancing. Who could ask for anything more?

Thingamajig Theatre Company is committed to not only providing great plays for the community, but also hosting events that make life in sweet and slow Pagosa just a little more sparkly. Whadycallit is geared toward those who are looking for a little fun that’s off the beaten path. Competitors are encouraged to come dressed in their own version of drag, although costume is not required. Whadycallit is a place for everyone to come and feel free to have a great time whether that means donning heels or not.
