Valle Seco land exchange

Dear Editor:
It came to mind after I read the guest editorial by Kara Chadwick, the Forest Supervisor of the San Juan National Forest, extolling the virtues of the Valle Seco Land Exchange. Not one mention of anything negative, like losing the entire length of FS road 660a to private ownership, which both the public and hunters now enjoys. Like losing an entire meadow that is well known to hunters. Like losing four campsites in an area where campsites are at a premium.
