UU topic: ‘Many are called’

Special to The PREVIEW

On Sunday, May 19, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service topic will be “Many Are Called,” presented by Dr. Stephan Papa.

Reverend Papa will discuss the many aspects of professional ministries and the relationship between ministers and congregations, as well as the benefits afforded by a ministerial presence.  His discussion will supplement the congregation’s recent focus group discussions regarding leadership options.

Papa received his Doctor of Ministry from Meadville Lombard Seminary and currently serves as the special assistant for the Growth Fund of the Unitarian Universalist Association in Denver, Colo.  He is author of the book titled, “The Last Man Jailed for Blasphemy.”

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall.  The address is Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza.  Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.  All are welcome.
