United Way Ski and Save Day will be January 15

By Lisa Jensen
Special to The SUN

Hit the slopes at Wolf Creek and support a good cause at the same time!  You know that a day on the slopes is always better than a day at work!  Ski or snowboard at Wolf Creek on Wednesday January 15, and benefit local non-profit organizations by doing so.

Lift tickets on United Way Ski and Save Day are just $49 for adults.   Wolf Creek Ski Area will donate $11 from every adult lift ticket to United Way in Archuleta County.

When you buy a discounted ticket on United Way Ski and Save Day, you help United Way reach our 2013/2014 campaign goal of $78,880.

These funds support 12 local agencies and programs that promote education, healthy lifestyles and self-reliance.  All funds raised in Archuleta County stay in Archuleta County, benefiting our friends and neighbors.

For more information, contact Lisa Jensen, Archuleta County Coordinator for United Way of Southwest Colorado, at 731-0484, or lisaj@unitedway-swco.org.  Thank you and see you on the slopes!
