Keely Whittington, the special projects manager for Pagosa Springs, will have bad news to report to town council today at its noon meeting — two of the town’s applications for grant money from Great Outdoors Colorado were denied.
According to documents Whittington submitted as part of today’s meeting packet, the town recently received notification that neither the 6th Street pedestrian bridge nor the 6th Street land acquisition grants were recommended for funding during this grant cycle.
