Tired of letters

Dear Editor:

I have talked about writing this letter for the last couple years and just kept putting it off, however, the time has come.

First of all, I believe in freedom of speech …

However, am I the only one that is tired of seeing the same individuals evoking their freedom of speech in The SUN’s Letters To The Editor section every week, or close to it? These individuals do nothing but complain about politics, religion, or each other. Is The Sun not receiving any other letters from readers with more constructive criticism or discussing more local matters that could be printed in place of the “repeat” writers? Can The Sun not limit the number of times an individual may have their letters printed in a year’s time? It seems these individuals just like seeing their name in print, or maybe they write weekly because they don’t have anyone that wants to willingly listen to them in person anymore.

I personally am tired of hearing from those same three or four individuals week after week. I suggest those individuals go vent somewhere else and spare the rest of us who enjoy reading The Sun and the Letters to the Editor. (I now skip the letters to the editor.)
