Time flies as the Festival of Trees nears

Special to The PREVIEW

Time is slipping away and, before you know it, the eighth annual Festival of Trees will be here.

This year’s event will take place on Friday, Dec. 6. Doors at the Ross Aragon Community Center and the cash bar will open at 7 p.m.  Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind tree auction event. Tickets are on sale now for $15 per person, or you can reserve a table for eight people for $150. Tickets at the door will be $20.

As you all know, here at the Ross Aragon Community Center we like to put a twist on things. This year, we are opening the Festival of Trees with a free public viewing, voting and bidding on Thursday, Dec. 5, from noon to 7 p.m. We encourage everyone to come down and see all the wonderfully decorated trees. Vote and be one of the first to put in a bid on the trees. There will be free hot chocolate, cider and sweets, and Christmas music will be offered at the public viewing. All proceeds the auction of each tree goes back to the non-profit sponsoring the tree.

Don’t miss out on the kickoff to the crazy Christmas season. Come on down to the Ross Aragon Community Center and enjoy a free night out with the family on Dec. 5 and/or a date night out with friends or your significant other starting at 7 p.m. on Dec. 6.
