Special to The PREVIEW
Curtains Up Pagosa (CUP) is thrilled to bring you “Children of Eden,” an extraordinary and poignant musical by Stephen Schwartz.
“Eden” is Schwartz’s favorite musical because it deals with his favorite subjects, family and children.
CUP’s cast is made up of veteran performers as well as newcomers to the stage, ranging in age from 8 to 67. They have created a family of their own, a strong and beautiful sound and an extraordinary musical performance to bring to our Pagosa Springs audience.
The original musical offers music from many genres such as jazz, gospel, classic ballads and show style.
A ticket to a CUP show supports the performing arts in our schools and community, local students working towards a degree in the arts, and students studying voice and dance in Pagosa.
“Eden” is a unique and special show. It is a musical about a family, an extended family, a human family we all belong to, in a world we all share.
CUP will continue its run of “Eden” tonight, Friday and Saturday 7 p.m. at Pagosa Springs High School. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce office or at the door.
