Scene … actors in Thingamajig Theatre Company’s “Circle Mirror Transformation” play, opening tomorrow, Jan. 12, and several patrons gather Dec. 6 at the home of Bob and Carole Howard for a Twelfth Night celebration dinner. The event included champagne, an indoor scavenger hunt and the traditional gingerbread cookies that have symbolized this event in England and Europe for centuries. Twelfth Night marks the last of the 12 days of Christmas, the end of the Christmas season, and the day when the three wise men brought the baby Jesus their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. “Circle,” set in a drama class at a community center in Vermont, plays Jan. 12-28. The award-winning Thingamajig Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional theater in residence at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts that produces dramas, comedies and musicals year-round.
