It’s that time of year: The lights are up, our town and homes are looking festive, the music celebrations have begun, even as we all pray for snow.

The Christmas shopping season is in full swing. If you are looking for a perfect and easy holiday gift, and trying to shop local, think of United Way Party ‘Round Pagosa Dining Certificates.

Perfect for your employees, your babysitter, dog and cat sitters, the neighbor who does all those little favors for you, teacher gifts, receptionist and delivery people gifts … so many people to think of!  The perfect stocking stuffer for all your family and friends. You most likely need to treat yourself to a dinner out while you are running yourself ragged trying to get it all done.

Let United Way help, while you help United Way.

Party ‘Round Pagosa Dining Certificates are valid at 30 local restaurants. For every $20 dollars you spend, the restaurant donates $4 to United Way right here in Archuleta County. It’s a win-win!

From now until March 31, 2013, you can purchase $20 United Way Dining Certificates, receive full face value at any of the participating restaurants listed below, and the restaurant will donate $4 from each certificate to United Way, benefiting your friends and neighbors.

Present your certificate when ordering. Some restaurants allow the certificate to be used towards alcoholic beverages, and some coffee shops allow you to exchange it for a gift card. (Certificates cannot be used for taxes, tips or prior balances and cannot be combined with other restaurant certificates, third party certificates, coupons or promotions.)

United Way hopes that you will support this program while choosing your holiday gifts, and every time you eat out. Keep some in your car, purse or backpack so they are readily available the next time you stop to eat at one of the following participating restaurants: A Chivalrous Shark, Alley House Grille, Bacci Italian Restaurant, Backroom Wine Bar, Bear Creek Saloon and Grill, Boss Hogg’s Restaurant and Saloon, Boulder Coffee Cafe, Buffalo Inn Restaurant and Bar, Cafe Colorado, Chavolo’s Mexican Restaurant, Chimney Rock Restaurant and Tavern, Coyote Moon, DSP Pizzeria, Farrago Market Cafe, Higher Grounds Coffee Company, Kip’s Grill and Cantina, Nello’s Bistro, On The Rocks, Pagosa Baking Company, Pagosa Brewing and Grill, Pagosa Peaks Pizza, Plaza Grille, Ramon’s Mexican Restaurant, Shang Hai Chinese Restaurant, Smokin’ Moe’s Unreal BBQ, Thai Chilie, The Pines Restaurant at Pagosa Springs Golf Club, The Rose, and Two Chicks and A Hippy.
