Special to The PREVIEW

Where can you find talking wolves, bumbling fairies, princesses seeking knights, and a band of pirates?

In the shows performed by The Gypsy Players at the fifth annual Pagosa Renaissance and Pirate Festival, of course.

Founded by Becca Stephens in 2009, The Gypsy Players are a group of Pagosa Springs High School graduates and students who love to perform. For the fifth year in a row, The Gypsy Players will perform at the Renaissance and Pirate Festival Friday, July 19; Saturday, July 20; and Sunday, July 21, at Town Park.

Mentored by Becca Stephens, all shows are casted, directed, produced and performed by this year’s troupe members: Trace Gross, Cierra Keating, Rowan Taylor, Robert Neel, Brooke Hampton, Kitman Gill, Ayriana Rackham, Spence Scott, Gus Palma, Brock Cordova, Shy Artis, Taylor Jones, Mia Jones, Alexis Artis, Jacqueline Hampton, Jeremy Medina and Jessica Tanner.

Members of the troupe hope to see you at the park for  performances on Friday, 11 a.m.-noon and 4:30-5 p.m.; on Saturday, noon-1 p.m. and 4:30-5 p.m.; and on Sunday, noon-12:30 p.m. and 4-5 p.m.
