The fun continues with Hands-On Arts Camp

Hey there, kids, we’re rollin’ up our sleeves for two more weeks of arts camp the weeks of June 23 and July 7. The Hands-On Arts Summer Camp is for students entering first grade next year, up to kids in sixth grade.

Highlights of the week of June 23 are Art from Tessie’s Travels: Puerto Rican Art, masks and Coqui frog sculptures. Lisa Brown will be creating fantasy art: clay dragons, gnomes, under the sea paintings and fairy huts/tree forts. The week of July 7 is our western art week. Children are asked to “dress for mess.”

Sessions are held Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Pagosa Springs Elementary School art room. Tuition is $120 per week Monday-Thursday. Class limit is 20 students per week. Information on art classes, registration and payment can be found on our website,
