Tax break

Dear Editor:
There is no such thing as a free lunch. How many times have you heard this? Yet, our Congressman Scott Tipton seems to think that we believe that there is. He has recently voted for a massive tax cut bill that will go mostly to people who do not need it. There rest of us will get a few crumbs thrown our way. Those tax cuts will expire in eight years while the tax breaks for the wealthier citizens will not. Three quarters of tax cuts go to the top 20%, half go to the top 1%, and by the end of 10 years 80% will go to the top 1%, according to the non-partisan Tax Policy Center.
