By Lisa Brown and Tessie Garcia
Special to The PREVIEW

For 20 years, the Hands-On Arts Camp has provided fun, nurturing and creative art experiences to local youngsters.

Check out what the camp is offering this summer by going to the website, www.hands-on-artscamp.com, where you’ll find photos and information.

For updates, you can also check out hands-on arts/facebook and you can call art educators  Lisa Brown, 731-3546, or Tessie Garcia, 769-4212.

Hands-On Arts Camp is sponsored by FolkWest and the Pagosa Springs Elementary School.

The camp runs for four weeks for students entering first grade to sixth grade, ages 7-12 — Monday through Thursday June 10-27, and July 8-11, from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. each day.  Check-in and drop-off time is 8:30-9 a.m. and classes begin at 9.

Location for the camp is the Pagosa Springs Elementary School’s art room.  Tuition is $120 per week, and includes lab fee.  Daily drop-off rate is $35.  Class limit is 20 students per week.

New this year are three money saving options:

• Sign up for three weeks and get the fourth week at half price.

• Register by June 1 and get 10 percent off weekly.

• Family Deal.  For a full week, the first child is full price and each additional child is $20 off each week.

Keep an eye out for Hands-On Arts Camp flyers.  They will be coming home with your child soon.
