Struck from history

Dear Editor:

This will be short and sweet … I hope. I have seen in reports that government agencies, as our Federal government started taking down pictures of past slave owners from their buildings. We’ve heard how statues of Confederate leaders have been removed, though many of them were not slave owners and did not fight in the Civil War to retain this practice. Point being if they were a slave owner they will and are being struck from the pages of history. There are a few others that have not been addressed by this purgative practice.
