Snow on the Mountain Peaks

Just as the colors of fall started to change in Pagosa Country, last Friday’s storm left a mantle of snow on the mountain peaks, making for spectacular views. Another winter storm moved in over the San Juan Mountains yesterday with 4-8 inches of snow expected over 10,000 feet through this morning in the high country including, U.S. 160 Wolf Creek Pass. Motorists traveling into the high country should be prepared for snowy driving conditions.
