Wolf Creek Ski Area experienced increased visitor numbers over the holiday season that kept employees busy between Sunday, Dec. 22 and Sunday, Jan. 5. The SUN spoke with Kyle Schreiber, a member of the Wolf Creek marketing team and snow reporter, about the holiday turnout and snow conditions this year.
According to Schreiber, visitor numbers were approximately 27 percent lower than those during the same holiday weeks last year, but, to date, the ski area has had 17 percent more visitors this season than during the 2012-2013 season.
