Special to The PREVIEW
Do your children love animated movies?
Are you looking for some great, inexpensive family entertainment to fill a Saturday?
If so, bring everyone to the Liberty Theatre on Saturday, March 23, for buckets of underwater fun!
The day will kick off at 10:30 a.m. (doors open at 9:30) with the movie classic “The Little Mermaid.”
Then, at 1:30 p.m. (doors re-open at 12:30) families will be treated to the hilarious antics of “Shark Tale.”
During the hour before each show, members of Pagosa Springs High School Drama Club have generously agreed to attend in costume. Their spring production will be “The Little Mermaid” and it is rumored that Ariel and some of her fishy friends plan to swim in for photos with the kids. Photos will be $1 and will be available to pick up and take home after each movie.
For even more fun, be sure to come dressed as your favorite movie character. There will be prizes for the best individual and family costumes. There will also be lots of terrific snacks on sale for everyone to enjoy.
This event is being presented by the Parent Advisory Committee of Seeds of Learning. Tickets are $5 per person (children under 2 are free) and can be purchased at the door.
All proceeds from the day will go toward continuing the excellent early education program provided for Pagosa tots at Seeds of Learning. Don’t miss this great opportunity to spend some time with your kids and to help Seeds, too.
