The Free Summer Concert Series continues at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts on July 22 at 7 p.m. with Ron Ivory and One on One.
Ron Ivory and One on One are recognized as entertainment icons in Denver and the Rocky Mountain region. One on One is a quartet that showcases Motown, classic soul and old school rhythm and blues just the way you like it.
This quintessential quartet features songs from the ’50s through the ’90s, including songs by artists such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, The Platters, The Contours, Al Green, The Stylistics, The Isley Brothers, The Dells and many more. With these four extraordinary vocalists and the incredible resonance of the MilesApart Band, this show is sure to bring back memories and ensure great new ones. The group played last year in the Free Concert Series and are back by popular demand.
Ron Ivory and One on One have had the pleasure of performing with or opening for Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, Dennis Edwards and The Temptations Review, Atlantic Star, The S.O.S Band, The Coasters and The Drifters, to name a few.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the free concerts. No outside food or drink is allowed. There will be a cash bar and food to purchase. The center will provide some seating, but if you want a guaranteed seat, please bring your own — not that you will want to sit down when this group starts playing.
