Dear Editor:

As I honored Veterans Day, I reminded myself to also commemorate the original Armistice Day.  It is also known as Remembrance Day and, by an act of Congress, is “a day dedicated to the cause of world peace.”   I will take the traditional two minutes of silence “at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month” to honor and remember all those who bring an end to war and forge lasting and just peace.
