The Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (PUUF) is announcing that the opening day service at its new location at the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association Clubhouse is at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 3.

The clubhouse is located at 230 Port Ave.

Due to demand for a larger venue to conduct the Sunday services, the membership of PUUF voted to move its services to the PLPOA clubhouse.

To kick off this next phase in the growth of the fellowship, Aaron Norris will give the opening day sermon in the new pulpit for PUUF.

The description of Norris’ presentation is as follows:

What does it mean to sit (or stand as you are willing and able) in sacred space? Can a space be both sacred and profane? Must we really do anything to be in sacred space? When we say something is sacred or holy, what does that mean? How do we hold that apart from the everyday? Does it make sense to do that?
