U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

ANNOUNCEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE

OF GROUND WATER PERMIT ACTION

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to issue an Underground Injection Control (UIC) permit-related action, under the authority of the Safe Drinking Water Act and UIC program regulations, for the North Carracas SWD #1 well operated by Red Willow Production Company, EPA permit number CO22277-10187. This action would authorize the injection of fluids into the subsurface for the purpose of Salt Water Disposal. The public notice, which requests comments on this action within 30 days, can be found at the EPA Region 8 UIC program’s website: http://www2.epa.gov/region8/underground-injection-control. Alternatively, the public may contact or call Tom Aalto at aalto.tom@epa.gov, 800-227-8917 extension 312-6949 or 303-312-6949 to get a copy of the public notice and/or documentation associated with this action.
