The first reading of Ordinance No. 788 (Series 2013) was completed at the Pagosa Springs Town Council Meeting held on April 18, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. ORDINANCE 788, AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PAGOSA SPRINGS AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE PAGOSA SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION THERETO OF A NEW ARTICLE 5 PROHIBITING THE SALE AND CULTIVATION OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA, INCLUDING MEDICAL MARIJUANA CENTERS, OPTIONAL PREMISES CULTIVATION OPERATIONS AND MEDICAL MARIJUANA-INFUSED PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING, AND A NEW ARTICLE 6 PROHIBITING THE OPERATION OF MARIJUANA CLUBS, MARIJUANA CULTIVATION FACILITIES, MARIJUANA PRODUCT MANUFACTURING FACILITIES, MARIJUANA TESTING FACILITIES AND RETAIL MARIJUANA STORES, regarding sale, cultivation, and operations associated with marijuana. Violation of this Ordinance is subject to enforcement and punishment pursuant to Article 3, Chapter 1 of the Pagosa Springs Municipal Code, including Section 1.3.3. providing for a fine not to exceed $1,000, or incarceration for not to exceed 1 year, or both. The full text of the ordinance, including any amendments, is available for public inspection at the office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to CRS 30-28-116 that the Board of County Commissioners of Archuleta County, Colorado, will hold a public hearing to consider revisions to the Archuleta County Land Use Regulations. These proposed changes are available for viewing either at the Planning Department at 1122 Highway 84 on the website at www.archuletacounty.org under Departments, Planning, Planning Proposals.
A public hearing on these proposed amendments will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2012 at 1:30 PM in the County Courthouse, Commissioner’s meeting room at 449 San Juan Blvd., Pagosa Springs, Colorado, at which time all interested parties will be heard.
Written comments may also be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners, P. O. Box 1507, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, at or prior to said public hearing.
