Sealed bids will be received by the Pagosa Area Water & Sanitation District, 100 Lyn Avenue, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 until 2:00 p.m. local time January 22, 2014. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all bids that have been duly received will be opened publicly and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid.

The work to be performed generally includes: Crack Sealing, Minor Asphalt Removal and Replacement and Sealing of the District’s Lyn Avenue Campus asphalt parking lot paved surfaces.

Bids shall be submitted on a lump sum basis.

The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment and Warranty Bond guaranteeing faithful performance, and provide evidence of insurance per the District’s requirements.

No Bids may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date Bids are opened.

The work to be performed generally includes, but may not be limited the following components: The District is seeking a Supplier to furnish a Sewage Receiving Station which generally includes, but not limited to painted steel enclosure containing a 4” standard plug valve, magnetic flow meter, 1” integrated flushing control package including backflow prevention, winterization package, standard Ethernet communication, one access point, integrated hose reel package, internal light, GFCI internal convenience receptacle, software package with proven integration with Water +, one year warranty and on site startup and training. The project includes all associated materials, equipment and appurtenances required for a completely functioning system. Concrete and electrical power will be furnished by the District.

All interested parties are invited to attend. The work to be performed generally includes, but may not be limited the following components: The District is seeking a Supplier to furnish approximately 30 cubic yards of Adsorption Clarifier Media. The adsorption media shall be buoyant with a specific gravity of less than 1.0 and translucent white in color. The buoyant media shall be manufactured of HDPE beads with an effective size of 2.5mm. At least one-half of the beads in the bed shall be rolled to produce an elliptical shape and shall also be scarified to place a groove in the media surface. Media must be NSF 61 certified suitable for Drinking Water applications. Media that does not include the rolled and scarified design is not acceptable. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to core 5 filter beds and analyze the samples for performance characteristics. A written report containing findings and recommendations shall be furnished to the District within two weeks after the date of the coring.
